The press has recently run stories implying that we are one of the top polluters in the country. Even 60 Minutes ran a piece on how NASA is using parts of our facilty as a simulated moon base because there isn't a single living thing within five miles (with the obvious exception of our dedicated workforce!).
So what is the truth behind these claims - do we really pollute? That all depends on how you define "pollute". If you mean do we pay pay countless EPA inspectors to creatively interpert their measurements - then the answer is - no, we don't pollute.
