Gary Garritan, developer of the software I used to create the "Dorian" soundtrack, came to the show's opening night in
Salem, Oregon. He presented me with a copy of his newest software instrument, The Garritan Authorized Steinway Piano.
For the music which played during the intermission at the performances, I picked out songs from the show and re-arranged
them for piano with a line up of Garritan solo instruments playing the melody lines.

2008 was the year of "Dorian"--I directed the premiere at Pentacle Theatre, Salem, Oregon starting with casting in January
and ending with closing night in June.
Immediately after that I was arranging the music for "Pope Joan," a new musical by Christopher Moore which opened in
Hollywood.
Next I was off to Moscow, Russia to work with the repertory company at The Stas Namin Centre as work began for the international
professional premiere of "Dorian Gray."
I had very little time to participate at the Forum. But I was happy to have my work make another appearance on
the annual Garritan Christmas CD.

The conversation thread for this Indian inspired piece signaled to me that my time for posting music at the Forum should
come to a close.
I had a good time sharing my work in The Listening Room for almost 3 years. Now there's more room on the Forum
for new members to post theirs.
I'm still a moderator at the Garritan Forum, fielding questions and helping to keep it a stimulating environment for
the Forum's membership.
