‘Metropolis’ phenomenal

December 25, 2002

I saw the play “Metropolis” two times in the past few weeks. “Metropolis” is an outstanding play that not only has changed my perspective about the theater but has stuck in my head since the first time I saw it.

Randy Bowser, the director of “Metropolis,” deserves a standing ovation for his amazing ability to put together such a great group of actors and actresses into their roles. They did a phenomenal job in acting, singing and dancing. Jeff Baer and Kara Quello, as the lead roles, took the audience with them wherever they went. I congratulate them on their work.

The songs were great as well. Being a musician and a lover of music, I can’t seem to get these songs out of my head and look forward to getting a soundtrack of the play at some time.

Thank you, Randy Bowser, for bringing alive a musical that will rise to the top and hit Broadway. I’m very thankful that I saw it both times. It brought emotion and empathy to everyone in the building!
