Music for HAiR at The Pentacle was performed live by a band consisting of Bass Guitar, Guitar, Drums, and Percussion. The keyboard player (director Randy Bowser) had his musical performance recorded on a CD along with the show's sound effects. This made the musical performance of the show a complex matter of mixing the CD with the live band and eight microphones. The musicians played in synch with the recorded keyboards, and a sound engineer controlled the cueing and levels of the entire mix. The following is the sound cue chart initially given to the engineer. The numbers refer to CD track numbers. |
